Green For All is a national organization dedicated to building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. Green for All advocates for local, state and federal policies and funding for quality job creation, training, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the emerging green economy.

Green for All is developing a national network to engage people from every sector of society in (1) collaborating to build a green economy that works for all by sharing innovation, best practices, and relationships to (2) advance major policy initiatives that fight both poverty and pollution at the same time.

Internship Summary

Green The Block (GTB) is a is a national campaign, in partnership with the Hip Hop Caucus, focused on engaging communities of color throughout the country in monthly action events focusing on education, awareness and service to grow the movement for an inclusive green economy.

The GTB Intern will coordinate email and online communications with Green The Block participants, drive outreach to event organizers, and develop resources and tools for use in the field. The GTB Intern with work collaboratively with the Green UP Program Manager, the Education and Outreach Director, other members of the Green For All team and partner organization liaisons to design and implement the field strategy.

Successful candidates will be values driven, self-motivated, detail oriented, resourceful, and have experience in policy analysis, advocacy and organizing. They will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability to shifting priorities, a keen sense of urgency, and a commitment to excellence.
