Attention Southern Californians! Want to have a say in how $4.2 billion in Energy Efficiency funds are invested in your communities?

Speak out at the California Public Utilities Commission's Public Hearings on Energy Efficiency, on June 1st in Culver City and June 2nd in San Diego.

CPUC Public Hearings on Energy Efficiency

Monday, June 1st
2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Veterans Memorial Complex, Rotunda Room
4117 Overland Ave., Culver City

Tuesday, June 2nd
2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Al Bahr Shriners Center
5440 Kearny Mesa Rd., San Diego

What's at stake?

  • How Edison and SoCal Gas utility companies will spend $1.34 billion and $542 million respectively on energy efficiency.
  • How San Diego Gas & Electric and PG&E will spend over $2 billion on energy efficiency.
  • A chance to get utility companies to prioritize important services like home energy audits and weatherization in their 2009 - 2011 Energy Efficiency Program Plans -- instead of letting them continue to take a backseat to other spending.
  • Green job creation and community partnerships that could be fostered by utility companies as part of their Energy Efficiency Program Plans.

Utility companies need to correctly invest in energy efficiency to lower the cost of energy bills, reduce unhealthy carbon pollution and support communities by creating green jobs.

Attend a hearing to let these utility companies know how they should meet the energy efficiency needs of your community!
