Brittany Stallworth is a native of Detroit, Michigan. Currently, She is a junior biology major at Howard University. She has been active in her community since the tender age of 14. In the past, Brittany worked at LA SED and helped to develop a mentoring program for young Hispanic women in Southwest Detroit. She also served as the lead volunteer at Hope Academy of Detroit Science and Math Mentoring Program during high school where she assisted students with Mathematics and Science.
Howard College Ambassadors Brittany Stallworth and Falon Shackelford hosted a successful event called “Green Is The New Black.” The event featured over 35 businesses and non-profit organizations looking for the next generation of leaders in the green sector. Students and community members alike took the opportunity to engage with businesses and get information on job openings and internship opportunities in a range of areas.
