This summer, our country took a huge step in combating the impact of climate change with the first-ever carbon pollution standards for power plants. Under the president’s direction, the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed Clean Power Plan aims to reduce carbon pollution 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030.
