Community organizers around the country are challenging their elected officials to establish quality energy efficiency retrofit programs. These grassroots efforts push for programs that are accessible to all, and create good jobs for local communities.
The July 16th conference featured three community-led efforts in San Jose, Pittsburgh and New York. Presenters talked about the grassroots organizing, coalition building, and policy behind their campaigns, and shared successes and challenges.
