Win a Green Franchise with Clean Air Lawn Care



Clean Air Lawn Care, the nation's leading full-service sustainable lawn care company, is giving away one of its fast-growing franchises. One lucky winner will receive a Clean Air Lawn Care franchise and startup package – valued at $35,000.  The package includes training and ongoing corporate assistance, lawn equipment from Black and Decker, and virtual marketing support from GenGreen.  This is a great opportunity for business-minded entrepreneurs with some liquidity to own and operate a successful green franchise.

Clean Air Lawn Care uses clean electric and biodiesel powered equipment for lawn mowing and landscape maintenance; their electric equipment is charged during the day by solar panels mounted on their trucks, and overnight with wind power; and they have an aggressive offsetting program through CarbonFund.org. 

The contest was designed to provide someone who has the skills, passion, and determination a unique opportunity to boost their own economic prospects while doing something positive for the local environment.  As with any franchise, the winner must meet financial requirements: $15,000 in liquid funds (to put toward start-up costs), and a personal net worth of $65,000 (which need not be accessed).  While those sums may seem high to many, they are relatively small compared to most other franchise costs.



The candidates will be chosen based on an online submission process that will culminate with a public vote among five finalists.
