We use cookies to improve the quality of our Site by storing your preferences to share user trends about how people utilize the Site. Your browser is probably set up by default to accept cookies, including Green For All cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent to your computer. In order to better serve our members, we periodically analyze web logs. This helps us understand traffic patterns and know if there are problems with our website. We may also use embedded images in emails to track open rates for our mailings, so that we can tell which mailings appeal most to Green For All members.

If you would like to be removed permanently from our phone list, please let us know here. Please allow 8-10 days for your information to be removed.

URLs contained in emails may contain an id that enables us to correctly identify the person who takes an action using a web page. We use these URLs to simplify the process of signing petitions and filling out surveys. We may occasionally present a shortened URL that references a longer URL that contains an id–we do this to simplify the display, to prevent links from becoming broken when copied, and to ensure compatibility with email programs that do not handle long URLs. When a shortened URL is displayed in an email, you will see the full URL in the browser’s address bar when you access the page.

You Own Your Information

You own your PII, and we have a license to use what you decide to share with us.

If you were referred to this website from an outside party, we reserve the right to share your PII with that referring party.

Except as set forth herein, we do not have current plans to share PII with any other third parties (other than for the legal, safety and security reasons as set forth in this Privacy Policy), but that could change. If we do intend to share your PII, we will notify you using the email address you provided and give you an opportunity to opt out. We may look at and share collected information in an aggregate or “headless” form, which does not specifically identify you personally. This is detailed below. We do not consider such information PII.

Ways We Use Your Information

We collect PII to authenticate Users of the Site, process requests for our goods and Services, and send notifications about the Site or our goods and Services. You can decline to submit PII, in which case you may not be allowed to use the Services of the Site, including Membership. By voluntarily providing us with PII, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide PII on the Site, you acknowledge and agree that it may be transferred from your current location to the officers and servers of Green For All and any authorized third parties located in the United States. If you use a bulletin board, blog, chat room or other publically viewable forum on the Site, you should be aware that any PII you submit can be read, collected or used by other Users and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for PII that you choose to publically disclose.

We hold the PII we collect from you and other Users individually for Services we provide directly to you; and in aggregate form – similar to a counter – to compare website activity information about all of Green For All Users collectively. We may share certain aggregated non-personal information about our Users with third parties such as the number of Green For All Users who use certain Services or purchase certain goods, for example. We have the expectation that the third parties with whom we may share your information use reasonably commercial efforts in maintaining the security of your information. Except as may be required by law or as otherwise set forth in this Agreement, we do not disclose data about individual members’ behavior to any other organization.

In addition to what’s already been stated herein, Green For All may process your PII for the following purposes:

  • Providing our Site or Services to you, including the display of customized Content;
  • Auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our Site and/or Services;
  • Ensuring the technical functioning of our network;
  • Sending communications, updates, newsletters, action alerts, and/or news;
  • Sending communications and/or information about campaigns and petitions;
  • Developing new products and/or Services;
  • Keeping you informed of products, Services, and promotions;
  • Third party hosting of the Site or Services.

Furthermore, Green For All may use your PII without your prior consent when we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such PII is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce Green For All’s applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Green For All, its Users or the public as required or permitted by law. From time to time, we may supplement PII collected on our Site with information collected by third parties.

If Green For All becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, your PII may, and likely will, be disclosed to third parties and we will provide notice before your PII is transferred to the acquiring company and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

If we propose to use your PII for any purposes other than those described in this Policy, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of your PII for those other purposes. We will not collect or use PII for purposes other than those described in this Policy unless we have obtained your prior consent.

If you are visiting Green For All from outside of the United States, please be advised that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. Please be assured that we seek to take reasonable steps to ensure that your privacy is protected under the laws of the United States. By using our Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Policy.

We would like to offer this option, regardless of whether you are a California resident. As such, you may request this information from Green For All by writing to:
