Nara McCray is a rising junior at Alabama A&M University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. She excels academically and has held executive positions in several campus organizations such as the NAACP, the Honors Program, and the Environmental Science Club. While maintaining her full academic scholarship at AAMU, she enjoys attending conferences and learning outside of the classroom. Opportunities like internships, such as the one she just completed in Grand Teton National Park, are helpful in her development as an individual and as a professional. Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, Nara enjoys nature and hopes to have a career conserving and working outdoors.
